colectivism is a term used to describe a philosophy that stresses individual unification and the importance of a colective, rather than the importance of separate individual. colectivism focus's on integration and transmutation, and seek to give a priority to holistic striving over individual whims. The view is that an Individual is greater than the sum of its parts. Specifically an Individual as a whole is seen as having more meaning or value than separate individual of which it is composed. colectivism is widley seen as being a precursor to individualism.
